FAQ

Editions and pricing, supported mailboxes, privacy, AI, and how to send feedback—answers for common Orvia Mail questions.

Can I download Orvia Mail now?

Yes. Use the Mac App Store for the App Store edition; the latest Classic direct edition 0.9.21 is available from this support page.

Which mailboxes are supported?

The public release supports Outlook, QQ Mail, Tencent Enterprise Email, NetEase 163/126, custom IMAP/SMTP, and Gmail. Gmail follows the same mailbox rules as every other provider: add it within the ordinary mailbox allowance, with no Gmail-specific purchase or eligibility check. Google or account requirements may still affect access.

When will I receive a notification?

We will send a notification when Orvia Mail officially launches; the email you register is used only for launch notices and important product updates.

Will mail be uploaded to Orvia Mail servers?

Mail is sent and received directly through your mailbox provider, not through Orvia Mail-owned relay servers. AI is local-first, and cloud AI can be disabled.

Can I write mail offline?

Yes. Orvia Mail keeps outgoing messages in a local queue and sends them in order when the network returns.

How do I report issues?

Email hello@orviamail.com with your macOS version, mailbox type, screenshots, and steps to reproduce when possible.
